Privacy policy

This site belongs to XyraDVR, a freelance video editor. It collects very little, and everything it does collect is described here.

What the site collects

The contact form is the only thing on this site that collects information: your name, your email address, which kind of project you picked, and whatever you write in the message box. Nothing is collected until you press send. There are no accounts and nothing to buy here, so the site never touches passwords or payment details.

Where form submissions go

Submissions travel through Web3Forms, a form delivery service, which forwards them to my email inbox. After that it's a normal email conversation between you and me. Web3Forms publishes its own privacy policy at web3forms.com/privacy if you want to see how they handle the handoff.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, trackers, or ad scripts. That is also why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Fonts

The two typefaces load from Google Fonts. When the page opens, your browser fetches the font files from Google's servers, and Google sees your IP address in that request, the same as for any file a browser downloads. No other Google service is involved with this site.

Hosting logs

Like most websites, the server that hosts this page may keep short-lived technical logs: IP addresses and requested pages. They exist for security and troubleshooting, and I don't use them for anything else.

How your information is used

I read your message and I reply. That is the entire use. Your details don't go into any mailing list and don't get shared with or sold to anyone.

Project files

If we end up working together, anything you send me for the edit (footage, scripts, brand assets) stays between us. I use it to make your ad and for nothing else, and if you want it all deleted once the project wraps, one email takes care of it.

Seeing or deleting your data

Email me and ask. I'll tell you what I have from you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form or process to go through, it's just email.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with an updated date at the top.
